Preparing the Salad

Wash and Chop Salad Base
Wash the romaine lettuce and Arcadian mix thoroughly under cold water. Chop the romaine into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl. Add the Arcadian mix to the bowl.

Slice the Onion
Peel and thinly slice the red onion. Add the sliced onion to the salad bowl with the greens.
Adding Toppings

Prepare Candied Bacon
Cook the slices of bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let them cool slightly, then chop into pieces. Add the candied bacon pieces to the salad bowl.

Add Pecans and Berries
Add the pecans, strawberries (sliced), and blueberries to the salad bowl with the greens and toppings.
Making the Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Dress the Salad
Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss the salad gently to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing.
