Crust Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with olive oil.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cauliflower

Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower. Cut it into florets and place them in a food processor. Pulse until the cauliflower is finely chopped and resembles rice.

  3. 3

    Cook the Cauliflower

Transfer the chopped cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave for 5-7 minutes until tender. Let it cool slightly.

  4. 4

    Remove Excess Moisture

Once cooled, place the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. Squeeze out as much moisture as possible to avoid a soggy crust.

  5. 5

    Mix the Crust Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  6. 6

    Shape the Crust

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet. Use your hands to press it into a flat, round crust, about 1/4 inch thick.

Baking

  1. 7

    Bake the Crust

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crust is firm.

  2. 8

    Cool the Crust

Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before adding your favorite toppings.
