In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Cod
Place the Pacific cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fish is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Transfer the marinated cod to a baking dish and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
