Cookie Dough

Ice Cream

Method

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. 5

Gradually blend the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.

  6. 6

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  7. 7

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

  8. 8

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serving

  1. 9

    Scoop Ice Cream

While the cookies are cooling, scoop your choice of ice cream into bowls or on top of the warm cookies.

  2. 10

    Serve Warm

Serve the warm cookies with the ice cream immediately for a delightful treat.
