1. Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Set aside.

2. Season the Beef

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Mix well until combined.

3. Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

4. Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

In the last minute of cooking, place cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt.
