Cooking the Shrimp

Prepare the Water
In a large pot, add 4 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning.

Boil the Mixture
Bring the water and seasoning to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add the Shrimp
Once the water is boiling, add the ½ pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the pot.

Cook the Shrimp
Let the shrimp cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

Drain the Shrimp
Remove the pot from heat and drain the shrimp in a colander.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the cooked shrimp on a serving platter.

Prepare the Dipping Sauce
Serve the shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side and garnish with lemon wedges.
