Method

Lobster and Shrimp Filling

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat and shrimp. Add the mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

Brown Butter Crumbs

  1. 2

    Make Brown Butter Crumbs

In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and add the bread crumbs and chopped parsley. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated in the brown butter. Set aside.

Toasted Rolls

  1. 3

    Toast the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the split-top rolls on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and lightly golden. Remove from the oven.

French Fries (Connecticut Style)

  1. 4

    Prepare French Fries

Cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions. Once cooked, drizzle with melted unsalted butter before serving.

Assembly

  1. 5

Assemble the Lobster and Shrimp Rolls

Spoon the lobster and shrimp filling generously into each toasted roll. Top with the brown butter crumbs for added flavor and crunch. Serve immediately with Connecticut-style French fries on the side.
