Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Thaw the Crab

If using frozen Alaskan King Crab legs, place them in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight to thaw. Alternatively, you can submerge them in cold water for about 30-60 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Keep warm on low heat.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Steam the Crab Legs

Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Place a steamer basket over the pot and arrange the thawed crab legs inside. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

  2. 4

    Serve

Carefully remove the crab legs from the steamer. Serve hot with the warm butter sauce on the side for dipping.
