Prepare the Chicken

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the two boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cook the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 8 cups of salted water to a boil.

Cook the Penne
Add the penne pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

Add Cream and Garlic
Once the butter is melted, stir in 2 cups of heavy cream and 2 teaspoons of minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Gradually whisk in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of grated nutmeg. Stir until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve

Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked penne pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.

Plate the pasta and top with sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
