1. Toast the Bread
Begin by toasting the sourdough bread slices until they are golden brown and crispy. This will add texture to your sandwich.
2. Prepare the Chicken
Slice the roast chicken into even pieces for layering in the sandwich.
3. Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
4. Slice the Vegetables
Chop the romaine lettuce, slice the tomato, and scoop out and slice the avocado.
Assembly
5. Spread the Condiments
On one side of each slice of toasted sourdough bread, spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard.
6. Layer the Ingredients
On one slice of bread, layer the sliced roast chicken, followed by the crispy bacon, chopped romaine lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado slices.
7. Finish the Sandwich
