Method
Blue Corn Chips
- 1
Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine blue cornmeal, water, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- 2
Roll Out the Dough
Place the dough on a clean surface and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thickness using a rolling pin.
- 3
Cut the Chips
Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the rolled dough into triangles to form chips.
- 4
Bake the Chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the cut chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
Hummus
- 5
Prepare the Chickpeas
Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water to remove excess sodium.
- 6
Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, ground cumin, and water.
- 7
Process Until Smooth
Blend the mixture until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add more water if necessary for a creamier texture.
- 8
