Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Roast Beef

Slice the hot roast beef into thin pieces if it isn't already prepared.

  2. 2

    Toast the Sub Roll

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the French sub roll on a baking sheet and toast it in the oven for about 5 minutes or until it is lightly crispy.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Spread the Mayonnaise

Once the sub roll is toasted, take it out of the oven and spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise evenly on the inside of the roll.

  2. 4

    Add Roast Beef and Provolone

Layer the sliced hot roast beef on top of the mayonnaise. Then, place 2 slices of provolone cheese over the roast beef.

Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare the Au Jus

In a small saucepan, heat the au jus over medium heat until warm. This may take about 5 minutes.

  2. 6

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired, and serve it with a cup of warm au jus for dipping. Enjoy!
