Preparation

1

Marinate the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp with lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

2

Prepare the Habanero Sauce

In a separate small bowl, mix the finely chopped habanero peppers with a tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Adjust the amount of habanero according to your spice preference.

Cooking

3

Grill the Onions

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and grill for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.

4

Cook the Shrimp

In the same grill or pan, add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan.

5

Combine and Serve

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove from the heat and combine with the grilled onions. Drizzle the habanero sauce over the shrimp and onions before serving. Enjoy your Diablo Shrimp!
