Method
Chicken Tenders
Prepare Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide.
Set Up Breading Station
In a shallow bowl, place flour mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
Fry Chicken
Add the breaded chicken tenders to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Fries
Prepare Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips or wedges.
Soak Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry.
Heat Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Fry Potatoes
Carefully add the soaked potatoes in batches to the hot oil and fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
