Method

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 1

    Chop the Vegetables

Dice the cucumber, radish, and tomato into bite-sized pieces. Tear the romaine lettuce into smaller pieces and place them all in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Pita Crisps

  1. 2

    Prepare the Pita

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the pita bread into triangles, brush them with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  2. 3

    Bake the Crisps

Bake the pita triangles in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let them cool.

Make the Dressing

  1. 4

    Combine the Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, sumac, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Assemble the Fattoush

  1. 5

    Combine Everything

Pour the dressing over the chopped vegetables in the mixing bowl. Toss well to coat all the vegetables with the dressing. Add the pita crisps and toss gently to combine.
