Marinate the Chicken
Cut chicken breasts into 1.5-inch cubes. Add the chicken to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Skewer and Grill the Chicken
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil. Grill chicken skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.

Add Rice and Spices
Add the rice, turmeric, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir for 1-2 minutes to toast the rice slightly and coat it in the spices.

Add chicken broth or water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
