Lamb Chops

Mint Sauce

Method

Preparing the Lamb Chops

  1. 1

    Marinate the Lamb Chops

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the lamb chops, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Lamb Chops

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated lamb chops on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Lamb Chops

Once cooked, remove the lamb chops from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

Making the Mint Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Mint Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine fresh mint leaves, white wine vinegar, sugar, water, and a pinch of salt. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 5

    Serve the Mint Sauce

Drizzle the mint sauce over the rested lamb chops just before serving. Optionally, you can serve extra mint sauce on the side for dipping.
