Cooking the Rice
- 1
Rinse the Rice

Boil Water
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt to the boiling water.
- 3
Cook the Rice
Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water. Stir once to prevent sticking, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook for 18-20 minutes or until all water is absorbed.

Fluff the Rice
Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat and let it sit covered for another 5 minutes. Then fluff the rice with a fork.
