Preparation

1. Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

2. Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, and chop the onion. Mince the garlic. Rinse the broccoli florets and snow peas.

Cooking

3. Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4. Stir-fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then add bell pepper, carrot, broccoli, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.

5. Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth until well combined.

6. Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring until everything is coated. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
