Prepare the Pork
Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and cut it into large chunks. In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork pieces.

Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork in a slow cooker. Add apple cider vinegar and water. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Shred the pork using two forks and return it to the slow cooker to mix with the juices.

Assemble the Sandwiches
Place 1/4 lb of pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the pork to taste. If using, top with coleslaw.
