Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh dill. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Coat the Salmon

Place the fresh salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that all sides of the salmon are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill grates. Grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and extra dill sprigs for garnish, if desired.
