Method
Prepare Chicken Wings
- 1
Cleaning and Drying
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Ensure they are completely dry to achieve maximum crispiness when baked.
- 2
Seasoning
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
Cooking the Wings
- 3
Baking
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- 4
Sauce Preparation
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the Frank's RedHot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce is warm.
Tossing and Serving
- 5
Tossing
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are fully coated.
- 6
Serving
Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
