Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on all sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest.

  3. 3

    Make Herb Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with parsley, minced garlic, and lemon juice until well combined. Set aside.

Fries Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.

Cole Slaw Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.

  2. 7

    Make Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate until serving.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Serve

Slice the grilled steak and place it on a plate. Top with herb butter and serve alongside crispy fries and cole slaw.
