Pork Chop and Sides

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Season the pork chop with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the pork chop for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make the Mushroom Marsala Sauce

In the same pan, add butter and melt it over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, sauté until mushrooms are browned. Pour in the Marsala wine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to pot. Add milk, butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Spinach

In a separate pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add fresh spinach and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the grilled pork chop, top with mushroom Marsala sauce, and serve alongside garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach.
