Guava BBQ Glazed Baby Back Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the Guava BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine guava paste, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and stir over medium heat until the guava paste dissolves and the mixture is smooth.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top foil, and brush a generous amount of the guava BBQ sauce onto the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.
