Crispy Pork Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Rub the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and brush with vegetable oil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  4. 4

    Thicken the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Slowly add to the simmering sauce, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat.

  5. 5

    Crisp the Ribs

Preheat the broiler. Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the ribs generously with the spicy BBQ sauce. Place under the broiler for 5-7 minutes until crispy and caramelized.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then cut and serve with extra sauce on the side.
