Crispy Pork Ribs

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Rub the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle with vegetable oil and rub it all over the ribs. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender.

  3. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

While the ribs are baking, combine soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Crisp the Ribs

Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F). Brush the ribs generously with the spicy BBQ sauce and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the ribs are crispy and caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with the remaining spicy BBQ sauce on the side.
