Make the Chocolate Chiffon Cake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 6-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.

Bake the Cake
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool the Cake
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Make the Coconut Butter Frosting
In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and coconut cream, mixing until smooth.

Frost the Cake
Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate, spread frosting on top, add the second layer, and frost the top and sides.

Slice the cake and serve each slice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
