Muddle the Sugar
In an Old Fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add the Angostura bitters and water. Muddle the mixture until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour the Bourbon
Pour 2 ounces of bourbon over the ice cubes in the glass.

Garnish
Twist a strip of orange peel over the drink to release its oils. Then, drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
