Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Proteins

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, honey, and black pepper. Mix well. Divide this marinade into three portions. Add the hibachi steak to one portion, the chicken breast to another, and the shrimp to the last portion. Allow the proteins to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Hibachi Steak

Heat a hibachi grill or a large skillet over high heat. Remove the hibachi steak from the marinade and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 3

    Cook the Chicken

In the same grill or skillet, add a little oil if necessary, and cook the marinated chicken breast for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.

  3. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the marinated shrimp to the grill or skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

  4. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet or grill, add the sliced zucchini, onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

On a large platter, slice the hibachi steak and chicken into strips. Arrange the steak, chicken, and shrimp on the platter with the sautéed vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
