Prepare the Ingredients
Rinse the halibut fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Zest and juice the lemon; set aside the zest and juice separately. Mince the garlic cloves finely.

Make the Herb Mixture
In a small bowl, combine fresh parsley, dill, and thyme. Mix well and set aside.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the Halibut
In a baking dish, drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Place the halibut fillets in the dish and season with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, lemon zest, and the herb mixture. Drizzle the remaining olive oil and lemon juice over the top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the halibut is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
