Shrimp
Garlic Breading
Method
Preparing the Shrimp
- 1
Clean and Butterfly the Shrimp
Rinse the large shrimp under cold water and remove the shell, leaving the tail intact. Use a sharp knife to butterfly each shrimp by cutting down the back, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- 2
Season the Shrimp
In a large bowl, season the butterflied shrimp with salt and black pepper. Toss to ensure even coating. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.
Making the Garlic Breading
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together minced garlic, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, olive oil, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and resembles wet sand.
Baking the Shrimp
- 4
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 5
Coat the Shrimp
Arrange the seasoned shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Generously spoon the garlic breading mixture over each shrimp, pressing gently to adhere.
- 6
Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and the breading is golden brown.
