Beef Teriyaki

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix until the sugar and cornstarch are dissolved.

Marinate the Beef
Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and place it in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the beef, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.

Broil the Beef
Preheat the broiler. Place the marinated beef on a broiler pan in a single layer. Broil for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked to desired doneness. Remove from broiler and let it rest for a few minutes.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the beef is marinating, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced zucchini, bell pepper, carrot, and onion.

Cook the Vegetables
Sauté the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
