Marinade Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ground black pepper, paprika, olive oil, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the beef ribs in a large ziplock bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for better flavor.

  3. 3

    Cook the Rice

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 350°F or 175°C). If using charcoal, let the coals burn until they are covered with white ash.

  2. 5

    Grill the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop a nice char and are cooked to your desired doneness. Baste with leftover marinade during grilling for added flavor.

  3. 6

    Rest and Serve

Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes. Slice between the bones to serve. Plate the ribs alongside the cooked rice.
