Cheesy Bread Ingredients

Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Make the Garlic Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic powder and cook for about 1 minute. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Gradually stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Cheesy Bread

Spread the garlic cheese sauce evenly over the cut sides of the bread. Sprinkle the chopped bacon and sliced green onions on top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
