Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- 3
Bread the Veal
Dredge each veal cutlet in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 4
Fry the Veal
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded veal cutlets and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, layer the cooked spaghetti, top with Iozzo sauce, and place the fried veal cutlets on top. Sprinkle with provolone cheese.
- 6
Bake
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Serve
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Veal Parmesan with extra Parmesan cheese on the side if desired.
