Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess.

  2. 2

    Sear the Salmon

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in the white wine, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Capers and Lemon

Stir in the capers and lemon juice. Let the sauce simmer for an additional minute.

  5. 5

    Finish the Sauce

Remove the skillet from the heat and whisk in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and the sauce is smooth.

  6. 6

    Serve

Return the seared salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
