Prepare the Pork
Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Sear the Pork
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then add the San Marzano tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Combine Ingredients
Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Cover and let simmer for another 10 minutes.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle smoked mozzarella over the chops and cover until the cheese melts, about 3 minutes.

Serve
Plate the pork chops topped with sauce and melted cheese and serve alongside the sautéed Swiss chard.
