Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then add the San Marzano tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Cover and let simmer for another 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle smoked mozzarella over the chops and cover until the cheese melts, about 3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Prepare Swiss Chard

In a separate pot, sauté the Swiss chard in a little olive oil until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the pork chops topped with sauce and melted cheese and serve alongside the sautéed Swiss chard.
