Preparation Instructions
- 1
Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the crusty bread into cubes and toss them with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread the cubes on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, anchovy paste, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until the dressing is emulsified.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill them over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Let them rest before slicing.
- 4
Assemble the Salad
Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large bowl. Add the sliced grilled chicken, croutons, and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle with the Caesar dressing and toss to combine.
- 5
Serve
Serve the salad immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
