Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Breading Setup
Set up a breading station: place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan in a third.
- 3
Breading the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and place on a baking sheet.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Top each piece of fried chicken with a generous amount of Iozzo sauce and a slice of provolone cheese.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7
Cook the Spaghetti
While the chicken is baking, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 8
Serve
Serve the baked chicken Parmesan over a bed of spaghetti, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
