Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, mix the gram flour, baking powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt, black pepper, and water to form a smooth batter.
- 2
Prepare the Vegetables
Chop the mixed vegetables into small bite-sized pieces and add them to the batter. Stir until the vegetables are evenly coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C).
- 4
Fry the Pakoras
Carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil. Fry in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan, until they are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- 5

Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
