Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, lemon juice, and vegetable oil. Mix well to create a marinade. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- 2
Prepare the Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat your clay oven or grill.
- 3
Skewer the Chicken
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- 4
Cook the Chicken
Place the skewers in the preheated clay oven or on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
