Lamb Meat Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Lamb

Place the lamb shoulder in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the lamb, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

  4. 4

    Prepare for Roasting

Remove the lamb from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan. Pour the vegetable broth into the bottom of the pan.

  5. 5

    Roast the Lamb

Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the lamb is tender and fully cooked.

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the lamb from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
