Beef Shawarma Ingredients

Method

Beef Shawarma Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef and coat it well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade and grill or sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Shawarma

Warm the pita bread. Place sliced beef inside each pita, and top with tahini sauce, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and chopped parsley.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the beef shawarma with extra tahini sauce on the side, and enjoy!
