Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add ground pork, cooking until browned. Stir in shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, chopped green onions, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Eggrolls

Lay an eggroll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near the corner. Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal. Use a little water to help seal the edge. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Fry the Eggrolls

In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry eggrolls in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
