Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Ingredients

Before starting, chill the vodka and prosecco in the refrigerator for at least an hour to ensure a refreshing drink.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Set aside in the refrigerator to keep cool.

  3. 3

    Blend the Base

In a blender, combine the chilled vodka and lemon sorbet. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Mixing and Serving

  1. 4

    Combine with Prosecco

In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the blended vodka and lemon sorbet mixture with the chilled prosecco until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the mixture.

  2. 5

    Serve the Sgroppino

Spoon the sgroppino mixture into chilled glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.

  3. 6

    Top with Whipped Cream

Add a dollop of the whipped cream on top of each serving for extra richness.

  4. 7

    Garnish

If desired, sprinkle with lemon zest and garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
