Cocktail Preparation

Chill the Glass
Start by chilling your old fashioned glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Redemption Bourbon, 0.5 oz of Cynar, and 2 dashes of bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled old fashioned glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass over a large ice cube or a few smaller ice cubes.

Garnish
Take a piece of citrus peel (orange or lemon) and express the oils over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a twist. Then, place it into the glass as a garnish. Finally, add one Luxardo cherry on top.
