Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Espresso Mixture
Brew the espresso and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, add the Marsala wine and stir to combine.
Make the Mascarpone Cream
In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
Layer the Ingredients
Dip each savoiardi cookie briefly into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer half of the soaked cookies in the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the cookies.
Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked savoiardi cookies followed by the remaining mascarpone cream. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder for garnish. Cut into squares and enjoy your tiramisù!
