Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Cedar Plank
Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour before grilling.
- 2
Prepare the Salmon
Preheat the broiler. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture on the salmon filet. Squeeze juice from half of the lemon over the salmon.
- 3
Broil the Salmon
Place the soaked cedar plank on a baking sheet and put it under the broiler for about 5 minutes until it starts to smoke. Carefully place the salmon on the hot plank and broil for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- 4
Cook the Wild Rice
While the salmon is broiling, cook the wild rice according to package instructions.
- 5
Steam the Broccoli
Steam the broccoli until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Once the salmon is cooked, serve it on the cedar plank with the remaining lemon half for squeezing. Plate the wild rice and steamed broccoli on the side.
