Chicken Fingers

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.

  4. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat enough cooking oil over medium heat to cover the bottom of the pan.

  5. 5

    Fry Chicken Fingers

Once the oil is hot, add the chicken fingers in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken fingers from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
